By car
from the Airports of Rome, Pisa and Milan: Take either the Autoroute
Milano-Firenze, or Rome-Firenze or Pisa-Firenze (Autostrada in Italian)
and exit at "FIRENZE-CERTOSA". Turn right onto the "Superstrada"
in the direction of SIENA (a 2 lane autoroute - no toll). Exit at
"San Donato in Poggio" and turn left, towards "Castellina
in Chianti". Keep driving on this beautiful panoramic road without
leaving it about 11 kms, until you reach Castellina, where you will
find a small square with a Gas station; take a sharp turn right towards
"POGGIBONSI". After about 4,2 kms, - watch carefully, don't
miss the sign on the road: "CISPIANO". On the left, there
is an unpaved road which leads first downwards and then up the hill,
(about 1,2 km). On the top you will see the sign "POGGETTO".
Follow the cypress lined road to the left which will lead you to Poggetto.
